Mortar in the Silver Age

Warsztaty Zaprawa w Srebrnym Wieku

We are delighted to be able to share with you an account of the first Zaprawa workshop in the Silver Age, which took place on 14 April. It was a day full of excitement and new experiences for seniors from the Stoszowice municipality.

Initially, the seniors had the opportunity to exercise under the guidance of a Nordic walking coach.

Nordic walking is a form of physical activity that involves walking with poles, which has a beneficial effect on the entire body. During the workshop, the seniors learnt the correct walking technique, which will help to improve their physical condition and well-being.

This was followed by a workshop on herbal medicine, during which the seniors learned what herbs can be used for medicinal purposes and their benefits. Herbs have been used for centuries to treat various ailments and are extremely effective and natural.

Finally, there was an eco-workshop where the seniors had the opportunity to create beautiful decorative vases using recycled materials. It was a great opportunity to inspire seniors to act to protect the environment and develop their artistic passions at the same time. We are delighted that we were able to achieve this goal.

The day ended with many positive impressions and new experiences.

We hope that the next workshop will be just as successful and inspire seniors to take action for their health and the environment.

Together we are working towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.

The project “Revitalisation for cultural and educational purposes of degraded and inaccessible parts of the Silver Mountain Fortress Historical Monument” is implemented within the framework of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.
